Dennis Alan Duranceau, of Dallas, Oregon, passed away on April 1, 2016 at the age of 68, one day before his birthday.
He was born on April 2, 1947 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Jane and LaVere Duranceau and joined a family of life-long Packer fans. When he was still a young child, the family moved west, first to Palm Springs, before finally settling permanently in Redlands, California, where he spent his school years, graduating from Redlands High School in 1965.

Karen Lynn Cochran, 69, of Bakersfield, passed away November 7th, 2016. Karen was born on March 3rd, 1947 in Racine, Wisconsin. She moved to Redlands, California as a child and stayed there until she moved to Texas in the early 1980's. She moved with her two children to Bakersfield, California in 1988 and remained there for the rest of her life.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep in the home that she loved. Terry Wade Earls, a U.S. Navy veteran who worked and lived in Redlands and Yucaipa for most of his life, died on Feb. 15, 2023. He was 76.
Born on Dec. 3, 1946, to Andrew and Margie Earls he joined the Navy after high school and served on the USS Constellation from 1966 until 1970.
He worked for Redlands Linen Supply, drove a semi-truck across country with his brother, worked for Greyhound Bus Lines and then at ARCO for 20 years before he retired and moved to Idaho in 2010.
His most favorite things were deep-sea fishing and USC....

Joe was a lifelong resident of his beloved hometown. He grew up on the family ranch, cultivating a deep love for Redlands' renowned oranges, and graduated from Redlands High School in 1965.

REDLANDS – Spc. 4th Class Terrance “Terry” Donald Frye died a hero when he was killed in action in Vietnam in 1967.
He had twice been wounded in battle during his seven months of service in the Army, according to comments by his father Donald H. Frye, an employee with the county Building and Safety Department, which were published in a San Bernardino Sun death notice in April 1967.
Frye was killed while trying to save the life of a fellow soldier, according to his Silver Star citation.

On the day he was buried, flags at City Hall and Safety Hall in Redlands were flown at half staff. April 21, 1967, was the first day that city of Redlands officials practiced their new policy of lowering flags on the burial day of a local serviceman.
